Bungs are an integral part of the packaging material which comes in contact with the sterile pharmaceutical products. That is why the procedure and methods adopted in Processing the bungs, should comply to GMP and should be free of any possible contamination caused by manual handling. 

Pharmalab has taken care of all these aspects while designing the bung processing cycle. The machine utilizes an individual cassette concept passing through a fluidized bed. The individual cassettes allow better physical separation of stoppers, thereby offering a maximum surface exposures. Automatic process control is achieved through the PLC. The PLC facilitate complete process flexibility by allowing the user to repeat / skip cycle, time and other process parameters.

The bung processor manufactured by Pharmalab, is in complete compliance with the GMPs. When bungs are not being processed, the same equipment can be used as a standard steam sterilizer and all the special features of the steam sterilizer are also incorporated in the Bung Processor.
